Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (commonly abbreviated as GTA: SA, GTA: San Andreas or simply San Andreas is a “Sandbox” developed by Rockstar North. It is the third 3D game in the Grand Theft Auto series, the fifth release for consoles and eighth overall in the series.
The game is inspired by the American culture of the 90s. The plot takes place in the fictional state of San Andreas, which encompasses three metropolitan cities: Los Santos, San Fierro and Las Venturas (which are parodies of Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas).
